I've been Tagged!

I've been tagged by LitCoo

I must post the rules, 7 random things about me and then tag others to do the same. Sound fair enough, right? These are the rules… each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves on their Blog. People who are tagged need to blog 7 facts about themselves and post the rules as well. At the end of their blog list 7 people you are tagging. Let them know that they are tagged by leaving them a comment.

1. I love to eat. When I go to a Mall the first thing that I’ll look out for is a restaurant.

2. Although I love to eat I’m really not a pizza person.

3. I am also non-shopaholic and never follow the fashion trends. I just stick to the basics it never does go out of style.

4.I’m always thankful to God for all the blessings that he has bestowed upon me and my family. I thank him everyday.

5. I love to shop for scrapbooking materials and I subscribe to at least for 4 scrapbooking publications. But I don’t make enough LO’s at least not as much as I should.

6. I suck at digital scrapbooking and no matter how hard I try to get into it. I just can’t. Just the other day I was trying to convert the photo from colored to black and white. I was stumped I just didn’t know how to do it.

7. I am proud to say that I am sending a child to school through WORLD VISION.

Ok, so now, I'll tag KAY,ZHASHING,OLIVE,JIGI,APPLE,SISTINE,JENCC,PIA

I'm still here..baby is okay and
weight gain is at 8 lbs for 16 weeks
not bad at all. We will finally find
out if we're having a boy or a girl on
June 20. Sana girl pero i have a strong
feeling that its a boy.

Gestational diabetes is still a big pain.. I hate
the injections and the 4x a day testing and
makes me think twice about having another
one in the near future.

Joshwa is doing great school is almost over and
because of that we (meaning I) finally gave in
to commercialism and decided to subscribe to
cable tv plus GMA Pinoy TV. I already have
the ABS-CBN on demand so it doesn't make sense
to have TFC.

Thats it for now will be posting again soon.

Hold Me - Savage Garden 2

Hey,
If we can't find our way out of these problems
then maybe we dont need this
standing face to face
like enemies at war we build defences
And secret hiding places
I might need you to hold me tonight
I might need you to say it's alright
I might need you to make the first stand
'cos tonight I'm finding it hard to be your man
hold me tonight
say it's allright
Hey
More than angry words i hate this silence
it's getting so loud
well i wanna scream
but bitterness has silenced these emotions
it's getting hard to breathe
so tell me isn't happiness
worth more than a gold diamond ring?
i'm willing to do anything
to calm the storm in my heart
i've never been the praying kind
but lately i've been down upon my knees
not looking for a miracle
just a reason to believe

i might need you to hold me tonight
i might need you to say it's alright
i might need you to make the first stand
because tonight i'm finding it hard to be your man

Do you remember not long ago?
when we used to live for the night time
cherish each moment
now we don't live we exist
we just run through our lives
so alone
that's why you've got to hold me

Hey,
If we can't find our way out of these problems
then maybe we dont need this
standing face to face
like enemies at war we build defences
And secret hiding places

I might need you to hold me tonight
I might need you to say it's alright
I might need you to make the first stand
because tonight I'm finding it hard to be your man

I love to sing. I sing in the shower, i sing while
cooking and i sing while scrapbooking. The problem
is that I can't sing to save my life. If i have to
sing for my supper I would definitely starve to
death but I do it anyway. I remember one time
because I was so confident that my voice
was fine I decided to audition for the glee club
of course I didn't pass my explanation to myself
maybe they were already full.

My family has tried to tell me so many times that
I can't sing in many different ways.
I chose to stay in a great place called denial.
What made me come out of denial was Joshwa.
Whenever I tried to sing to him he would
cover his ears and when i was singing using
the Magic Sing he kept taking the microphone from
me.

Maybe I should stick to what i'm good at nope
not dancing either just sit down and watch
from the sidelines and stick to clapping
for those that are really good at it.

Still Here..

Im still here.. I had a great mothers day. Eventhough
a few days before that were a bit stressful akala ko
di na kakayanin. The Lord has blessed me with strength,
humility and lots and lots of patience. I received
a text message from Papa. Just greeting me happy
mothers day and he said I love you Anak. I was
really touched and so moved to tears. Kasi di
kami nagsasabihan ng I love you ni Papa. But he
knows that i love him and i know that he loves me
kaya lang di lang kami vocal. That text message
will now occupy a permanent place in my inbox.

Spent the day with my sisters, nephew and my son last Saturday.
Love my new wardrobe courtesy of my 2 gorgeous, generous, smart,
beautiful and sexy sisters.I immediately packed away my old and
frumpy clothes to make room for the new one.

Finally was able to eat at Cheescake Factory last Saturday. The food
was great the service wasn't I guess dahil madaming tao pero
service isn't something that should be compromised.
Next on my list is Applebees. Hmmm kailan kaya? bahala na
Right now one of my favorites is Red Lobster
(2 pa lang ako nakapunta) pero i love the food and the service.

We took Joshwa to the $1 theater last Friday and today
while he was a bit antsy he tried his best and we survived it.
He was squirming in his seat but I'm glad he didn't cry and
didn't get out of his seat. Pirates of the Carribean here we come!

Top 10 Terrific Traits of People living with Autism

Top 10 Terrific Traits of People living with Autism
From Lisa Jo Rudy,

If you're sick of hearing about all the "deficits" challenging people on the autism spectrum, join the club! But for every down side to autism, there seems to be a positive -- an unusual trait that rarely appears among the "typical" community, but shines out among autistic folk. These pluses are well worth celebrating.

1) People on the Autism Spectrum Rarely Lie
We all claim to value the truth, but almost all of us tell little white lies. All, that is, except people on the autism spectrum. To them, truth is truth -- and a good word from a person on the spectrum is the real deal.

2) People on the Autism Spectrum Live in the Moment
How often do typical people fail to notice what's in front of their eyes because they're distracted by social cues or random chitchat? People on the autism spectrum truely attend to the sensory input that surrounds them. Many have achieved the ideal of mindfulness.

3) People with Autism Rarely Judge Others
Who's fatter? Richer? Smarter? For people on the autism spectrum, these distinctions hold much less importance than for typical folks. In fact, people on the spectrum often see through such surface appearances to discover the real person.

4) People on the Autism Spectrum are Passionate
Of course, not all autistic people are alike. But many are truly passionate about the things, ideas and people in their lives. How many "typical" people can say the same?

5) People with Autism Are Not Tied to Social Expectations
If you've ever bought a car, played a game or joined a club to fit in, you know how hard it is to be true to yourself. But for people with autism, social expectations can be honestly irrelevant. What matters is true liking, interest and passion -- not keeping up with the Joneses.

6) People with Autism Have Terrific Memories
How often do typical people forget directions, or fail to take note of colors, names, and other details? People on the autism spectrum are often much more tuned in to details. They may have a much better memory than their typical peers for all kind of critical details.

7) People on the Autism Spectrum Are Less Materialistic
Of course, this is not universally true -- but in general, people with autism are far less concerned with outward appearance than their typical peers. As a result, they worry less about brand names, hairstyles and other expensive but unimportant externals than most people do.

8) People with Autism Play Fewer Head Games
Who was that woman, and why were you looking at her? I know I TOLD you I didn't mind if you went out, but why did you believe me? Most autistic people don't play games like these -- and they assume that you won't either. It's a refreshing and wonderful change from the Peyton Place emotional roller coaster that mars too many typical relationships!

9) People with Autism Have Fewer Hidden Agendas
Most of the time, if a person on the autism spectrum tells you what he wants -- he is telling you what he wants. No need to beat around the bush, second guess, and hope you're reading between the lines!

10) People with Autism Open New Doors for Neurotypicals
For some of us neurotypicals, having an autistic person in our lives has had a profound positive impact on our perceptions, beliefs and expectations. For me, at least, being the mom of a son on the autism spectrum has released me from a lifetime of "should" -- and offered me a new world of "is."

Philbert and I are not talking to each other at the moment.
What started with something so small and trivial is now
starting to get so complicated. He did something and I got
hurt. The weird part is that whatever it is that he thinks
that I did which was beyond my control doesn't fit what
his reaction should have been (no he didn't hit me).
So instead of the usual confrontation I did something
that I never thought I could do which is to stop talking and
just shut up. I would see him and ignore him and last night
I left Joshwa with him and he put Joshwa to bed. I think the
silent treatment will give both us time to think and cool down.
Do I still love him? of course I do. Its just that sometimes
he can bring out the best in me can and also bring out the worst in me.
Im sure we will eventually talk to each other we live in
the same house. I do miss him a lot. I miss waking up
beside him and I miss him hugging and kissing me when he gets
off from work. I miss just talking to him and telling him stories
about how my day was and I do miss the corny jokes.I miss my best friend..
I know you'll probably think that why can't I just say I'm sorry and be done with it. Because with Philbert its not that easy you may say all the sorry and mean it but when he's hurt he is really hurt. He needs it to be him to make the first move.

Adoption

My sister in law will be adopting a child from
the Philippines. Well i'm not surprised because
she loves Cyrill like her own child and now she
has decided to take the plunge and start the
adoption process. I'm going to help her through
it I mean I'm going to do research so that she'll
know what to do and what to expect. Thinking of
adoption makes me think about Andrea. I miss her a
lot and I feel so bad that I couldn't fight for her.
I wish I had the money and the resources so that I
too can adopt her.Everyone thinks i've moved on from
that experience but I haven't. I think about her
everyday and I hope that she is well and I cry when
I hear that she's not being treated as well as she
should. But I will never trade that experience of
being her mom even for a while.. for a short time.
No one can replace her.. I could have kids of my own
but still my longing for her and concern will always
be there. Maybe someday soon God will make a way.
Someday soon....

I can't stop gushing about my husband Philbert has been so amazing
he has been cooking, taking care of Joshwa & putting Joshwa to bed.
He has really stepped up to the plate and took care of things.
When I am unable to do so. I'm thankful that we had a chance
to move and start over in all honesty this has saved our marriage.
Of course sometimes we have our moments where we fight because
no one can upset me like he can. But at the end of the day
no one can comfort me and make me laugh like he can. When we lost
the baby I was beside myself I was crying and he held me and
let me cry he didn't need to say anything. I knew I was going
to be okay because he's here and whatever crazy thing I do
he puts up with me and my moods. I know that our kids are so lucky
to have Philbert as a dad.

I WON

I won! I won! I won a magazine from marketmanila.com
I joined the trivia contest and I won. Mababaw lang
naman ako eh. Natutuwa lang ako na sumali ako at
nasagot ko nang tama yung questions nya.

Will take a photo of the magazine when i receive it.

Joshwa is sick. He had to stay home from school because he has a cold.
The teacher bluntly told me that if he has a cold he should stay home
because the school is not a daycare center. So despite the fact that I'm not
feeling well I have to take care of a sick child and risk catching the
cold.(I hope not)

about the feeling that you are vulnerable.
Half naked and all.. Will come back again
on May 23. By that time I'm done with the
First Trimester. Medyo makakahinga na ako
ng maluwag.

Finally did a LAYOUT using my Basic Grey Papers.
Will finish it off tomorrow then upload it.

FUNNY STORIES

Philbert's new task at home is to vacuum. Since he didn't like
the old one that we had he said that he'd go to a friend's house
to borrow a vacuum cleaner. 2 hours later he came back with this
item. He was insistent that it was a vacuum cleaner and I said
that it was a leaf blower.

I couldn't help it I was laughing so hard when I saw him trying to use it on the floor. Ayaw kasi makinig eh. I told him why didn't you look at the photo on
the box and he was saying that since has the word vacuum and the prize was reasonable he decided to buy one. I'm a bad wife but I couldn't live it down.
We just went back to the store to return it and just get a new one.

I was taking a nap when I woke up Joshwa was trying to put an apple on my mouth. Yes gagawin akong lechon ni Joshwa. When I said Joshwa what are you doing? he handed me an apple
and gave me the sweetest smile.

I'm loving the new Microsoft Word 2007. I could write my blog entries here and it does the uploading. Cool huh!!

You Are 17% Bitchy

You are practically an angel - both on the inside and outside.
You try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and you're even tolerant of bitchiness in others!

LAZY SATURDAY

I'm bored! Tons of things to do and yet I don't want to do it. Philbert isn't here its just me and Joshwa. Wanted to see Airees and Pepel tomorrow but since I'm at the mercy of our driver the subject is up for discussion. They'll be in Pasadena tomorrow so around 33 miles is a bit far from where we live

Dinner is quietly boiling it's early around 3 pm but it's a tricky recipe. I'm cooking Lechon Kawali. Sana wag pumalpak.. Akala ko naman its something as simple as frying it. But according to http://marketmanila.com you have to let it Simmer for 75 minutes with the garlic, onion, water and peppercorns and then you have to leave it alone for 1 hour and wait for it to dry. So by the time that its finished mga 6pm siguro include the other things that goes into the preparation.

I've finished reading another book Holly by Jude Deveraux. I bought 40 of her books from EBAY and the others I bought from AMAZON. I just love her stories on the Montogomery & Taggert Family. I don't want to read something heavy and depressing at the moment so her books are okay. I also ordered some books by Judith Mcnaught. Puro romance na lang muna. I'm a hopeless romantic I believe that love conquers all and that the two main characters will be together happily ever after. Kaya nga ayoko na magbasa ng books ni Nicholas Sparks kakalungkot eh I know in reality na di naman lahat nagkakatuluyan pero gusto ko talaga happy ending.

I remember watching telenovelas and there was a time na mga pinapapalabas sa TV di nagkakatuluyan parang nanawa tuloy ako manuod. Speaking of telenovelas I stopped watching Maria Flordeluna (because I'm disturbed by the plots and subplots ) Palimos ng Pag-Ibig because ayoko nang acting ni Rica. Di naman ganun ginawa ni Vilma eh. I know its supposed to be based on the movie pero just the same I keep comparing it to the movie.

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence

You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well.
An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly.
You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view.
A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary.

You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator.
You Are Very Happy

Your life is totally together, and you enjoy every day.
And you don't need a quiz to tell you that!
You know how to find pleasure in the little things...
And even when life isn't so great, you have a good sense of perspective.

What is it with this pregnancy.. I'm always super hungry..
Not just being hungry pero yung feeling mo na parang
3 days kang di kumain when in fact your last meal
was 2 hours ago. I watch what I eat pero grabe talaga gutom ko.

Philbert went home with manggang hilaw and bagoong.
Weird ..

Tomorrow I have a meeting sa school ni Joshwa.
We will be discussing his transition to another
school. Hopefully it will happen by August.

My paper packs are here YEY!!! pero sa sobrang
ganda parang ayaw ko gamitin. Hinimas himas ko
inamoy amoy, pinisil pisil.. Iniisip ko paano
gagamitin..Ayoko gupitin..

He says that I have so much pero a girl
can NEVER have to much scrapbook materials.
Some women love shoes, some love bags mine
are scrapbook materials. Philbert threatened to
call my mom pag di ako tumigil mag shopping
ng pang scrapbook. I said okay di na ako bibili..
Then under my breath I said for this month.
for 6 months. I hope my mom isn't reading
this otherwise i'll hear an earful..

I found my BG Supplier at http://www.coordinatescollections.com
The owner was so nice to accomodate me. When I ordered naubusan
na ako but she was able to pre-order some papers and was able to send
my orders right away. 3 Packs are coming tomorrow Blush, Perhaps
and Stella Ruby. 1 will be coming in May the Pheobe collection.

By the way we might be having twins.. Not yet that sure but the heartbeat
is strong and unusual for a single baby and is definitely moving
a lot. The doctor says I need to get an ultrasound from another
nila it's $250 ang mahal. Will post the ultrasound results
as soon as I have it.

Joshwa is learning so many things leaps and bounds
Sometimes cute things like he could now type
an apology. Last Saturday because
he misbehaved his dad said to him while
he was on the computer.
Joshwa opens the notepad and types
Daddy Philbert sorry lang ako.

Pero while cute yun may ginawa din sya kalokohan
he did something on the computer and played with
the volume.
not intend to discriminate in any way pero kung imported
Puede mo pagtyagaan but you can really distinguish
the difference. Because of that Philbert is itching to
reformat the computer. Ayoko muna kasi I want to
wait till my ABS-CBN subscription will be
renewed para dun ko sa laptop mapanood. Kaunting
tiis na lang naman.

Happy Easter

Today may we all be reminded that God's love
surpasses every cross we carry, every pain we endure,
every love we profess.
Happy Easter to You and Your Family

Saturday, April 07, 2007

Im just so giddy my Scarlett's Letter by Basic Grey arrived today.

Was able to get it at $18.45 shipping
included. I found a website na $14.40 lang yung Basic
Grey tapos $4.05 ang shipping. Unlike sa ibang website
na $18 tapos shipping nila is nasa $4 plus tax pa so magiging
mga $23 na siguro sya. Excited lang ako . I can hear my
mom talking to me Anak ang Gastos mo.. Pero for me
these are just perks that I get. I do the budgeting so the
extras I can use for my scrapbooking.

I was thinking of buying a Cricut.

Major Pagtitipid na naman gagawin ko nito
Let us see Cricut or Car Insurance, Cricut or
Grocery Shopping or Cricut or Gas Money.
hahahahha..I could hear my husband saying let me see
Cricut today and no scrapbook shopping for 6 months.
Wahhhhh

PERHAPS COLLECTION

Blush Collection

These two will be coming in May pa..

I pre-ordered it na.

Spotting

May spotting ako kaninang umaga.
I was literally speechless.. magkahalong kaba at
takot talaga naramdaman ko. I kept telling myself
Oh God! Lord please help me.. I called the midwife
and thank goodness she called back to tell me
not to panic observe the spotting and REST which means
no layas na talaga. Dapat punta na talaga ako sa
hospital tonight but she told me to observe and
wait kung masakit at unbearable and heavy
bleeding then I should go pero hindi just stay put.
I really, really wanted to see my friends
But now
talagang grounded muna ako. Thankfully wala nang
spotting but still I'm on house arrest pa rin.

Joshwa's own version of Manila.

Joshwa typed this in notepad
i just pasted it here. May mga lyrics na mali
pero i never bothered to correct it..

maraming beses na kitang nilayasan
inwanan at iba ang pinmntalan
parang banaang mahinap talagang malimutan
ikaw lanang ang aking laging binaballkan
manila
manila
i keep coming back to manila
simpply no place like manila
manila i'm coming home
i walked the streets of san francisco
i've tried the rides in disneyland
dated a million geris in sydney
somehow i feel like i don't belong
hinanamanap-hanap kita manila
ang ingay mong kay sarap sa tanga
mga jeepney mong nagiiiiparan
mga babae mong naggagandahan
take me back in your arms manila
and promise me you never let go
promise me you'll never let go
manila manila
i keep coming back to manila
simply no place like manila
manila i'm coming home
hinahanap-hanap kita manila
ang ingay mong kay sarap sa tanga
mga jeepneey mong nagiiiiparan
take me back in your arms manila
and promise me you never let go
promise me you'll never let go
promise me'll never let go
manila manila
miss you like hell manila
no place in the world like manila
i'm coming home to stay

Pag may

Scrapbook stuff for me and shoes para kay Joshwa

scrapbook store. Nainis kasi ako nung one time
by some miracle dinala ako ni Philbert

magiging Philbert Jr? Oh Lord!!! Sana talaga
girl itong magiging baby namin. Dati eto yung
gusto kong names

Elementary:

BOY: Sam Darby.. Dont ask me why basta type ako
GIRL: Michelline

HIGHSCHOOL:
BOY: Michael
GIRL:

College:
BOY: Xavier Antonio
GIRL: Sofia, Riela

After College:
BOY: Joshwa, Shane, Jason, Jakob. Harry James Potter (cheesy i know)
GIRL: Elisabeth, Tyrese, Sofia Alessandra,

Wala akong originality sa names. I wish I could
do what my parents did when I picked out the names
of my sisters. I like my sisters names very original.

Eto naman inaabangan ko..

Mood Swings

I don't know whats happening to me.Pero lately I'm very, very moody..
I get upset so easily especially with Philbert. I feel like a freaking
bi-polar.. Extremely happy then one then extremely
upset and I will let him know that I'm upset.
Basta
madali ako ma-irita. I'm not usually like this and I don't want
to be like this. For some reason di ko talaga mapigilan.
Breathe In and Breathe Out. I will really try to keep this
under control. Kaya lang baka naman kakatago ko nang
pagka inis ko atakihin na lang ako.. Decisions! Decisions!

Nausea is something that is new to me.
When I was pregnant with Joshwa I didn't have
bouts of nausea. But lately I've been puking and
puking.. (sorry for the term) But I don't mind
that it's harder now. When I was pregnant with Joshwa
I was in my early 20's now I'm in my early 30's kaya siguro
parang mas mahirap sya.

Here are some interesting FAQ's from babycenter.com

If I don't have morning sickness, does that mean I'm more
likely to have a miscarriage?

Not necessarily.
It's true that a number of studies have shown that
women who have miscarriages are less likely to
have had nausea. (If your baby or your placenta
were not developing properly, you'd have lower
levels of pregnancy hormones in your system,
so it follows that you'd have little or no nausea.)
But there are plenty of women with perfectly
normal pregnancies who manage to escape
nausea during their first trimester. Count yourself
lucky and don't obsess about it if you're not suffering!

Are some pregnant women more likely than others to feel nauseated? You're more likely to have nausea or vomiting during your pregnancy if any of the following apply:

• You're pregnant with twins or higher multiples. This may be from the higher levels of hCG, estrogen, or other hormones in your system. You're also more likely to have a more severe case than average. On the other hand, it's not a definite thing — some women carrying twins have little or no nausea.
• You had nausea and vomiting in a previous pregnancy.
• You have a history of nausea or vomiting as a side effect of taking birth control pills. This is probably related to your body's response to estrogen.
• You have a history of motion sickness.
• You have a genetic predisposition to nausea during pregnancy. If your mother or sisters had severe morning sickness, there's a higher chance you will, too.
• You have a history of migraine headaches.
• You're carrying a girl. One study found that women with severe nausea and vomiting were 50 percent more likely to be carrying a girl.
The Lord has given us another blessing.
We finally have a laptop and whats the
best thing about that is we didn't have to
pay for it. . God is good all the time!!!

I wasn't going to announce it till i was 3 months into
the pregnancy pero naisip ko maybe I should announce
it na lang din so that the ones who visit my blog
can say a short prayer for our baby.

Friday, March 09, 2007

My day isn't going as well as it should..
Joshwa's counsellor will be having a home visit today.
This home visit is stressing me out
that I can't think straight. We have to make a
good impression kasi kung hindi I don't know
what will happen. Although nakapasok na si
Joshwa sa program kailangan pa rin maganda
ang impression nya sa amin which really
makes this house visit really important to us.

Pati yung part time job ko affected na.
ba naman yung client nang "Im sorry I dont
know" (Bawal yun eh never say I dont know)

magpaliwanag kasi bottomline is kasalanan ko
talaga.

I know im supposed to focus on the job at hand.
Naiinis ako sa sarili ko that I can't think straight
when I'm under pressure. (which again is not
an excuse for my mistakes) Then I end up looking
stupid. Syempre pati rin boss ko napahiya. I know
I'm really doing
the best that I can.

the blues

Just this afternoon i found out that a friend and an acquaintance
is expecting a baby girl and baby boy they are both due in July
I was supposed to be due in June. Because had we not lost
Gabe i could be finding out by now if my baby was a boy or a girl.
I don't know what I'm supposed to feel. I'm happy for them
and yet i dont know why i feel like this. I'm sure the blues
will go away on it's own

The Secret

Was able to watch OPRAH and it validated something that
a friend told me we really do invite things in our life.
Like if we are full of negativity vicious cycle sya pero

Here are some things that I picked up dun sa show.

  • Either you do it or you don't do it. When you say that you'll try it means that you won't.. Like when you say i'll say try to go to this party chances are you wont be there.
  • For us to have a Harmonious Life. We have to focus on 5 Aspects.
  1. Financial Harmony
  2. Relationship Harmony
  3. Intentional Harmony
  4. Spritual Harmony
  5. Physical Harmony
  • Life is not meant to be a struggle it is meant to be abundant.
  • Being unwilling to forgive is drinking the poison and expecting the other one to die but the truth of the matter that the poison is slowly killing you.
It felt good to actually tell yourself for everything that has happened in my life
the good, the bad,the ugly and the pain. thank you.. I was actually crying kasi i told myself thank you for everything. I have truly truly got passed the pain and I thank you that I have finally let it all go. I said thank you that God gave me Joshwa just the way that he is our angel.Im grateful that he is what he is and he is healthy he has truly taught me a lot.I said thank you to my MIL and told myself that she taught me how to be humble in times of suffering. Basta for everyone who may have hurt me whether alam nila or hindi I said thank you and it felt good.
Very powerful sya as Oprah said it was my AHA moment.

*The Secret (featured on 'Oprah') ~ 'The Secret to You'*

The Secret Riches Visualization Tool

This is so powerful.. I watched this on Oprah and It was so moving

Justin Timberlake - Director's Cut - What Goes Around...

I love this new video. So what if it doesn't make sense. Basta for me okay sya.

Happy Valentines Day!! Today was the sweetest valentine's
ever. I woke up with a throbbing headache and I was in
pain my husband was rubbing my head and massaging it
till I went back to sleep. I would have wanted to go out
tonight but I think it's best to stay in.My body is aching and
my head is throbbing.. Good thing the fever has subsided.
Flu and all I still had to bring Joshwa to the bus and pick him up.
My head is still aching our home is a mess. But I couldn't ask for
anything more. The fact that were together makes this valentines
just as special

Mea Culpa

Im one of my last posts I meant to say Pedometer and
instead I typed Odometer,

Baking

I've started baking again. I never really thought
I'd get back to baking mostly because I hate
cleaning up after myself but I really like to
do it. I started cake making and baking
in 2004 kaso di ko ma-apply pinag aralan ko.
I can bake cakes but my icing application
needs a LOT of work. Maybe thats why I
like sticking to brownies and stuff para wala nang
icing I will let my worst critic taste my brownies and she
will tell me if I have my baking mojo back and that
is my mom. I haven't baked brownies and cakes in
at least 4 years.

Saturday, February 10, 2007

I didnt do a lot of exercising today masakit kasi
steps in one day. Akala ko kaninang umaga okay lang
ako. Was able to go out and do a bit of walking was able to
do 2000 steps do my errands pag buhat ko
ayun pag uwi ko I was in pain. Buti na lang wala na si
Philbert.
makakadaing. I never learn my lesson when it comes to
fitness. I walked the stairs from 36th Floor to the
Ground Floor and Pauwi sa amin only because I
found out Philbert's cousins call me TABA behind
my back. I was so upset and this was the same
cousin na pinatira namin sa bahay (long story)
Well that stunt landed me in the emergency
room because namaga yung ankles ko and I couldn't
walk. Then they injected with something by mistake
namaga yung mukha ko and from then on
I now have an allergic reaction to Aspirin
and Ibuprofen.

Tapos eto na naman dapat talaga slowly
but surely lang.It was stupid of me
to think that this would be different than the last
time. I just have to remind myself that fitness is a
marathon and I'm never going to win if I try to Sprint again.

My Goal

I was really thinking of what my goal
should be. Do I need to lose xx number of pounds?
Do I need to lose xx number of inches? But I want
it to be realistic. I want an attainable goal so I can start
from there. I want to be able to borrow Philbert's jeans.
Gaganda kasi ng mga pants nya eh. He is a size 28 (sexy sya)
pero his jeans size is a size 30. So at least I have a few inches
to go. I won't say na kung ano basta less than 10 inches ang
goal ko. I hope I can do this without having to give up
ice cream and sweets. I know! I know! I want my cake and
eat it too. Sometimes I tell him I hate you!!! how could
you and your siblings eat so much and not gain that weight.
Samantalang ako I'm still trying to lose my pregnancy weight
with Joshwa. At di na ito okay na excuse because Joshwa is
now 6 years old.

Losing Weight

Ay naku this has been the cause of many
disagreements between me and Philbert.
Of course I want to lose this weight naiinis
lang kasi ako na minsan makulit sya and I get
inis when he jokes about my weight. I know
he wants to challenge me to lose weight kasi naman
he's never been fat so di nya alam na di ganun
kadali mag papayat. Fine! fine! maybe i'm the problem
pero i want a little empathy. A great motivation in going
down a few sizes is that my BFF is getting married next
year unless I want to wear something frumpy and ugly
to her wedding then I need to lose weight, How am I going
to lose this weight? Naisip ko lang is i'm going to try
to walk this all of. I hope na di ako tamarin
please sana naman wag baka masayang ang
odometer ko. Kung hindi talaga ako pumayat naku
then I have to endure all of their comments.
Which is always something I dread hearing.

WELCOME TO HOLLAND by Emily Perl Kingsley

I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a
child with a disability - to try to help people who have
not shared that unique experience to understand it,
to imagine how it would feel. It's like this......

When you're going to have a baby, it's like planning
a fabulous vacation trip - to Italy. You buy a bunch of
guide books and make your wonderful plans.
The Coliseum. The Michelangelo David.
The gondolas in Venice. You may learn some handy
phrases in Italian. It's all very exciting.
After months of eager anticipation, the day
finally arrives. You pack your bags and off you go.

Several hours later, the plane lands.
The stewardess comes in and says, "Welcome to Holland."
"Holland?!?" you say. "What do you mean Holland??
I signed up for Italy! I'm supposed to be in Italy.
All my life I've dreamed of going to Italy."
But there's been a change in the flight plan.
They've landed in Holland and there you must stay.
The important thing is that they haven't taken
you to a horrible, disgusting, filthy place,
full of pestilence, famine and disease. It's just a different place.

So you must go out and buy new guide books.
And you must learn a whole new language.
And you will meet a whole new group of
people you would never have met.

It's just a different place. It's slower-paced
than Italy, less flashy than Italy.
But after you've been there for a while and
you catch your breath, you look around....
and you begin to notice that Holland
has windmills....and Holland has tulips.
Holland even has Rembrandts.

But everyone you know is busy coming
and going from Italy... and they're all bragging
about what a wonderful time they had there.
And for the rest of your life, you will say
"Yes, that's where I was supposed to go.
That's what I had planned."
And the pain of that will never, ever,
ever, ever go away... because the loss of that
dream is a very very significant loss.
But... if you spend your life mourning
the fact that you didn't get to Italy,
you may never be free to enjoy the
very special, the very lovely things ... about Holland.

A few days ago I was reading a post in our egroup

that Maria Grace Abuzman a famous scrapbooker

"celebrity" will be coming.I'm like wow saya siguro nun.

Then I saw this. on creatingkeepsakes.com

Beginning in 2007, CKU will be a hybrid of everything

you have loved over the years. We have listened to your

feedback and have incorporated your favorite aspects

into our new format. You love the techniques learned at

a classic CKU – We listened. You love the camaraderie

and accomplishment of finishing a whole album at CKU-A

– You got it. The new CKU will have it all!

Every CKU is a three-day, education-focused

event where the scrapbooking industry's most

talented experts gather to teach you the newest

techniques of the trade. On Thursday you will

be able to use products from your favorite manufacturers

in the Demo Hall, as you work on projects for a 6x6 album.

Complete a little or a lot, its up to you. The fun continues

on Friday as you have the option to attend a full day

of classes or spend the day completing a 12x12 Album.

This schedule will repeat on Saturday, giving you

the chance to participate in both the classes and

album workshops. At each event you will have the

opportunity to learn new techniques from your

favorite scrapbooking celebrities while

completing top of the line projects one day

and an entire album on the other day.

In addition to a high-quality education, CKU offers plenty

of extracurricular activities where you can socialize at

evening activities and crop parties, compete in contests,

participate in hands-on projects and demonstrations

from leading manufacturers in the industry

, and interact with fellow students

who are just as passionate about scrapbooking as you are.

It's a truly unique experience of pure scrapbooking fun!

Join us at these CKU events:
CKU-Detroit: April 19-21, 2007
CKU-Anaheim: June 14-16, 2007 (Malapit lang sa amin)
CKU-Nashville: August 23-25, 2007
CKU-Orlando: October 11-13, 2007

CKU is different from any other scrapbooking conventions.

CKU offers a unique educational experience for a few

hundred students. The quality of the education students

receive at CKU is unmatched by other consumer trade

shows and local classes. CKU is a more structured event

with a timeline of activities, rather than the open forum

of shopping and classes from vendors that is found at a consumer show.

At CKU, the social atmosphere is unique in that students

are surrounded by the same scrapbooking enthusiasts for

the entire length of the event. Students can build long-lasting

friendships and enjoy a close camaraderie with others

who share their passion.

At least may time pa ako mag ipon for this
WOHOOOO!!! CKU here I come wow this
will be my chance to meet Ali Edwards,
Liza Bearnson & Cathy Zielske just to name a few..
Na excite ako.. I cant wait!!!

I know mababaw etong post ko pero naiinis ako
na replay ang Grey's Anatomy. I mean seriously!
I guess kasi may Christmas break din sila.
According to TV.com January 4 pa ang next new episode.
Until then I will be watching those reruns.

Where did the time go?
I was asking him the last time I saw him
Can you promise me that you wont have a girlfriend
til your 15 di daw nya kaya mag promise and I'm
like NO!!!! matanda na ata talaga ako.

Dati lang baby sya at binubuhat ko but now di ko
na kayang buhatin at di pa naman dumadating sa time
na puede nya akong buhatin baka mapilayan yung bata
kawawa naman.

Here's a photo of Brox and Joshwa
