High School Musical 2 -You Are The Music In Me

You are the Music in Me

Na na na na
Na na na na yeah
You are the music in me
You know the words
Once upon a time
Make you listen?
There's a reason.
When you dream there's a chance you'll find
A little laughter
or happy ever after
yeah harmony to the melody
It's echoing inside my head
A single voice (Single voice)
Above the noise
And like a common thread
Hmm, you're pulling me
When I hear my favorite song
I know that we belong
Oh, you are the music in me
Yeah it's living in all of us
And it's brought us here because
Because you are the music in me
Na na na na (Ohh)
Na na na na na
Yeah yeah yeah
(Na na na na)
You are the music in me
It's like I knew you before we met (Before we met)
Can't explain it (Ohh ohh)
There's no name for it (No name for it)
I'm saying words I never said
And it was easy (So easy)
Because you see the real me (I see)
As I amYou understand
And that's more than I've ever known
To hear your voice (Hear your voice)
Above the noise (Ohh ohh)
And know I'm not alone
Oh you're singing to me (Ohh yeah)
When I hear my favorite song
I know that we belong (Yeah ohh)
You are the music in me
It's living in all of us
And it's brought us here because
You are the music in me
Together we're gonna sing (Yeah)
We got the power to sing what we feel (What we feel)
Connected and real
Can't keep it all inside (Ohh)
Na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Na na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Yeah yeah yeah (Na na na na)
You are the music in me (In me)
Na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Na na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Na na na na
You are the music in me
When I hear my favorite song (Favorite song)
I know that we belong (We belong)
You are the music in me
Yeah it's living in all of us
It's brought us here because (Here because)
You are the music in me
Na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Na na na na (Ohh yeah)
Na na na na
You are the music in me (Yeah)

MariƩ

Well this is the name that Philbert wants.. He has this crush on Marie' Dibgy who looks like Alice Dixon. Kaso naman ang hirap naman kasi i-pronounce. It's pronounced as Mar-yey. Eh ultimo ako nabubulol. But i guess okay lang naman din na may Marie kasi thats my baptismal name. So we sort of agreed on a the second name but the 1st name is still up in the air. Gusto ko talaga kasi Adrienne kaso ayaw ni Philbert. We still have 2 months to decide kung ano ba talaga magiging pangalan nya. I'm sure we'll think of a great name.

The Malu Fernandez Issue

So much has been said about this issue that I will not say so much anymore.
I will not go on a rampage and start attacking her and saying nasty
things about her. Others have already done that. Kulang na lang ipakulam sya..
People are up in arms and are ready to burn her effigy. Even resort to name
calling like pig, baboy and fat ass. (wag naman name calling) If we start
to resort to name calling then we'd be no different from her. One thing
I'm highly opposed to is people want to boycott her store. Sure I don't
like what she wrote but boycotting her strore is another matter.
Its not only her that will be affected. I see their point but by boycotting
her store we are not helping her employees. Mahirap nang mawalan ng trabaho
sa atin hirap ng buhay.Im not condoning what she did. What she did was
wrong and I say that again and again. Ayoko lang na madamay
ang ibang tao dahil kawawa talaga yung employees
if matuloy nga yung boycott. The bigger picture here is
the reality that its not that easy to look for a job in the
Philippines. My friend who is a college graduate lost her job
up to now nag apply pa rin hat more pa yung staff nya na
siguro di naman lahat nakatapos ng college.Like what I said wag nating idamay
empleyado nya. When we boycott her business at magsara
sino ba ang affected yung mga tao nya. May mga pinag aaral
yang mga yan may pinapapakain na mga anak.
Granting mag apply ng work but do you think sa hirap ng
buhay sa atin agad sila makakakita. Palagay ko hindi..
Can you tell their kids sorry boycott namin tindahan nya
saka na kayo kumain pag nakahanap ng work uli parents
nila.

Found It.

Found the cell phone this morning.. Where you ask?? Well kaya pala naman di ko makita eh nahulog ni Joshwa sa ilalim ng make shift computer table (AKA Our dining table) ni Philbert. Im glad that's over and It was found. Til the next missing item's next rant or good news or whatever comes first.

Inis!!!

Im so annoyed na nawawala ang cell phone ni Philbert was supposed to charge it para magamit bukas. Di ko pa rin makita..Kanina ko pa sya hinahanap.Kakainis talagang totoo ang kasaihan na pag hinahanap mo ay di mo makita. Im sure mahahanap ko rin yun ang tanong is kung kailan ko makikita. I just hate it when this happens. And please to those of you who have suggestions about preventing this from happening again please keep it to yourself im too inis para makinig.

Baby Plus

I love the Baby plus that we're using right now. I really feel the baby move everytime I use it.I've heard so many stories about baby plus and I can't wait to share my testimonial when I give birth. Here are some information on Baby Plus.Though its a bit pricey. The standard retail price is $149 just bought it for $55(shipping and handling included) on EBAY second hand and in very good condition and just the way the baby is reacting when I use it i know that i made a great investment.

Why should we use BabyPlus?

The real question is, "why wouldn't you use BabyPlus?" It is safe, it is scientifically sound, and the benefits are remarkable. In order to give your child every advantage, you take care of your health while you are pregnant - eating right, taking prenatal vitamins, avoiding alcohol, etc. Why not start educating your child as early as possible?

Is it safe?

Yes it is. There is no question that this is an entirely new field of education, but on the other hand prenatal stimulation has been around for thousands of years. BabyPlus simply represents the evolution of prenatal stimulation to a technique that has incredible benefits for the child. We believe that, someday, the use of BabyPlus will be as much a part of being pregnant as is taking prenatal vitamins.

Is there any chance of over stimulation?

No! The entire system is designed to present the sounds of BabyPlus to the fetus at a level below that of the normal sounds of the maternal heart beat.

How do the BabyPlus sounds educate my baby?

The unborn child receives very little stimulation in the uterus. The only sound that it can clearly discern is the maternal heart beat. By providing the infant with sounds which closely mimic the maternal heart beat but which vary in ever increasing ways, the child learns one of the most basic learning skills of all - discrimination - before she/he is born.

Does the mother's heartbeat conflict with the BabyPlus sound?

Obviously both sounds are occurring at the same time, but it is the same as if you listen to two different rhythms being played at the same time two sets of drums - you can listen selectively to one or the other and clearly hear the difference.

Why heartbeats?

Whether the maternal heart speeds or slows due to exercise, emotion, stress, or sleep, changes in its rate are randomized, hence not curricular in structure (progressively and consistently more complex), therefore no different from any other sonic stimuli in the mother's environment - all reaching the unborn child but nonsensical, merely meaningless white noise with no opportunity to imprint; both extreme simplicity and repetition are required for this very special kind of learning, a critical phase which ends with birth.

BabyPlus provides what the infant's natural surroundings cannot: Sequential variations from the imprinted cardiac baseline, thereby exercising formative neurology through elementary information-processing, strengthening memory and comparative functions to reduce normal brain cell death concluding gestation. Neurogenesis is so developmentally dependant upon recognizable data that the mother may stimulate with BabyPlus no matter her level of physical activity, mental state, or mood - the evolving brain will relate to that which makes sense at its most important stage.

Can BabyPlus aid bonding?

There are two primary ways in which bonding between a pregnant mother and her unborn child are enhanced by using BabyPlus. First, the physical act of stimulation occurring twice or more daily (particularly if provided at the same times of day) becomes a regularized process which by its very mechanics focuses upon the fetus, drawing attention to any potential response; this is the psychodynamic effect.

More importantly, as the mother witnesses fetal movements in response to the BabyPlus rhythms - often synchronized with them and of considerable duration - a dialogue is established: Her infant has reacted to cues she initiated.., our earliest connection with another individual, just like a game; in this sense, the baby becomes personalized without having to exit the womb - it relates directly to the mother's behavior. As she realizes this growing attachment, every motor reaction by the fetus to the mother's use of BabyPlus in turn elicits her hormonal/biochemical responses which cross the placental barrier, further evoking in the child reinforcement of its playful activity.

Naturally, while such bonding is most intense between mother and her unborn child, father, any siblings, and extended family can as well share in this interpersonal exchange - not only do they observe maternal happiness at its effect, they can place their hands or face against the mother's abdomen and feel what is going on... the beginning of human communication in the family classroom.

Can I use BabyPlus more than twice a day?

It is not beneficial to increase the amount of your baby's daily listening time. If a child hears the lessons too frequently, they become habituated to the rhythms of BabyPlus and the distinction is not as readily made.

Can I start using BabyPlus before the 18th week of pregnancy?

Although it certainly would do no harm to begin using BabyPlus before the 18th week, we cannot guarantee that it would be of any additional value. The baby's sense of hearing does not become functional until about the 18th week. We encourage that lesson one be started during week 18 at the earliest.

What if I am past 18 weeks when I begin to use BabyPlus? Will I still see benefits?

Absolutely! We have many parents who have started using BabyPlus much later than 18 weeks and still report the same benefits.

What if I completed all 16 lessons and still haven't delivered?

Simply continue playing lesson 16 until delivery.

Do I have to rest while using BabyPlus?

Although we believe it is best to use BabyPlus during periods of relaxation (and enjoy the bonding experience), you may continue all usual activities (except, of course, bathing or swimming).

10 Reasons Why I'm Doing a VBAC

  • VBAC is usually safer for mom and baby.

  • VBAC reduces the risks of infection to the mother.

  • Labor is good for babies in most cases.

  • Not having surgery makes mom's recovery easier.

  • VBAC reduces the risks of respiratory problems in babies.

  • VBAC involves a shorter hospital stay.

  • More than 80% of women will be able to have a vaginal birth after a previous cesarean.

  • Breastfeeding is easier after a vaginal birth. Usually for a variety of reasons, including faster and more direct access to your baby and less postpartum pain for mom.

  • VBAC can help prevent injury to your internal organs, like your bladder, intestines, or even the need for an emergency hysterectomy.

  • VBAC is less expensive.
  • I'm doing everything to make sure that I can achieve this goal.

I even hired a doula to make sure that she can help me and walk me through the whole process. Here is the definition of a doula. . (from the DONA Website)

The word, "doula," comes from the Greek word for the most important female slave or servant in an ancient Greek household, the woman who probably helped the lady of the house through her childbearing. The word has come to refer to "a woman experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to the mother before, during and just after childbirth." (Klaus, Kennell and Klaus, Mothering the Mother)

    A doula...

Recognizes birth as a key life experience that the mother will remember all her life...

Understands the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of a woman in labor...

Assists the woman and her partner in preparing for and carrying out their plans for the birth...

Stays by the side of the laboring woman throughout the entire labor...

Provides emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint and assistance to the woman in getting the information she needs to make good decisions...

Facilitates communication between the laboring woman, her partner and clinical careproviders...

Perceives her role as one who nutures and protects the woman's memory of her birth experience.

    By Rascal Flatts

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow

And each road leads you where you want to go

And if you’re faced with the choice and you have to choose

I hope you choose the one that means the most to you

And if one door opens to another door closed

I hope you keep on walkin’ ‘til you find the window

If it’s cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile

But more than anything, more than anything

    Chorus

    My wish for you

Is that this life becomes all that you want it to

Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small

You never need to carry more than you can hold

And while you’re out there gettin’ where you’re gettin’ to

I hope you know somebody loves you

And wants the same things too

    Yeah, this is my wish

I hope you never look back but you never forget

All the ones who love you

    And the place you left

I hope you always forgive and you never regret

And you help somebody every chance you get

Oh, you find God’s grace in every mistake

And always give more than you take

But more than anything, yeah more than anything

    Ne-Yo - So Sick

    Gotta change my answering machine
    Now that I'm alone
'Cause right now it says that we
    Can't come to the phone
And I know it makes no sense
'Cause you walked out the door
But it's the only way I hear your voice
    Anymore

    (It's ridiculous)
It's been months for some reason I just
    (Can't get over us)
    And I'm stronger than this
    (Enough is enough)
No more walking 'round with my head down
    I'm so over being blue
    Crying over you

    (Chorus)
And I'm so sick of love songs
    So tired of tears
    So done with wishing
    You were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs
    So sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?

Gotta fix that calendar I have
    That's marked July 15th
Because since there's no more you
    There's no more anniversary
I'm so fed up with my thoughts of you
    And your memories
And now every song reminds me
    Of what used to be

    (Chorus)
    That's the reason
I'm so sick of love songs
    So tired of tears
    So done with wishing
    You were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs
    So sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?

    O-o-h (Leave me alone)
Leave me alone (Stupid love song)
Don't make me think about her smile
    Or having my first child
    Then lettin' go
    Turning off the radio

    (Chorus x3)
'Cause I'm so sick of love songs
    So tired of tears
    So done with wishing
    She were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs
    So sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
(So why can't I turn off the radio?)
Why can't I turn off the radio?

Time, Love and Tenderness by Michael Bolton

This is a classic song circa 1990's i heard this song the other day and i couldn't stop singing the chorus

So you say that you can't go on
    Love left you cryin'
And you say all your hope is gone
And what's the use in tryin'
What you need is to have some faith
    Shake off those sad blues
Get yourself a new view, oh

Nothing is as sadas it seems you know
'Cause someday you'll laugh at the heartache
Someday you'll laugh at the pain
Somehow you'll get through the heartache
Somehow you can get through the rain

    CHORUS:
When love puts you through the fire
When love puts you through the test
    Nothing cures a broken heart
    Like time, love and tenderness
When you think your world is over
    Baby, just remember this
    Nothing heals a broken heart
    Like time, love and tenderness
    Time, love and tendrness

I understand how you're feelin' now
    And what you've been through
But your world's gonna turn around
So, baby, don't you be blue
All it takes is a little time
    To make it better
The hurt won't last forever, oh

All the tears you are gonna dry you know
'Cause someday you'll laugh at the heartache
Someday you'll laugh at the pain
You may be down on your luck
But baby that old luck's gonna change

    CHORUS

Baby, oh baby, you just need some
    You just need some
    Time, love and tenderness

    Time, love and tenderness
The hurt ain't gonna last forever
    Oooh oooh
    Time, love and tendernes
    Time, love and tenderness

    Baby, it's all you need....
    Time, love and tenderness...(repeat)

Joshwa's 1st Day of Extended School Year

Joshwa started his 1st year of extended school year today.
Medyo nakakamiss din pala na wala sya. I actually felt sad
to see him ride the bus.Kaso naman before he rode the bus
he was hugging me and didn't want to let go which was
unusual for him. Na touch ako talaga. Ewan ko if he'll miss
the time he spent with me. Pero ako na guilty for those
times na napapagalitan ko sya kasi minsan makulit kasi talaga eh.
Initially i was so excited that he was going to go back to school.
Pero ngayon papasok na sya na lungkot naman ako.

This is a good article was really struck with what she said
because I do feel like I'm starting to be a witch especially
now that Joshwa is on vacation.

    Witch mother
    BREATHING SPACE By Panjee Tapales
    Sunday, July 1, 2007
Mama, are you a witch?” my little one asks. He has developed a fascination for witches that is reaching an amusing peak. Yes, I always answer, even if I know that certain people — and I won’t mention names — are itching to replace the first letter of that word with, uh, something else. “Bad or good?” he wants to know. That he needs to ask doesn’t bode well for me, but I insist on finding comfort in this faint display of doubt.

I’ve always had a thing for witches and people have referred to my mother, sisters and I as a coven, more for our razor-sharp intuition and extrasensory perception (dulled only, though repeatedly, by love) than any actual witch-like traits, i.e., warts, black robes, hooked noses, black, bubbling cauldrons… you get the picture. So, I actually delight in my own child trying to verify my sterling witch roots. Yes, I am a witch, inherently good until I became a mother and the hormones became crazily more female. Well, okay, it isn’t just hormones. It’s mostly fatigue, too, brought by the daily demands of hands-on, conscious motherhood.

There are days when equanimity escapes me and every ounce and drop of patience along with it. It happens, especially if mommies don’t get enough sleep, thanks to several unwelcome nocturnal visits from their children. It also happens when, already robbed of sleep, mommies are rudely awakened by pre-dawn whining, especially since rules are very clear about that tone of voice, that early in the morning. My boys have been told, even shown, that whining is the vocal equivalent of dragging a rake through my innards, but even that rather evocative visual flies out the window once they have decided to have a go at it. These are a few examples of what brings out my inner traditional witch and when that happens, even the crazy hormone-challenged woman in me looks like Mother Teresa. Yes, there are days everything rushes to the surface and I simply let it fly: big eyes, bellowing angry voice, slamming, banging. Rage.

But, oh, the guilt. The guilt.

Just this week a brief exchange with some mommies over our “bad behavior” proved that every mother 1) carries too much guilt; 2) does her best to be warm, gentle, kind and loving always; 3) inevitably fails at number 2 and finds herself raging, yelling, screaming, threatening and generally becoming a bad witch; and then 4) repeatedly opens her baggage to accommodate more of number 1. We also own too many books about how to be better mothers where we are told how to control our tempers, to always use the “I” voice, treat our children with respect, kindness, warmth… you name it, we’ve read it, tried it, failed at it and hated ourselves for it. Such is the emotional drama of real moms everywhere.

During this mommy-beating session, I did share that children needed to see their parents being wicked — not every day, but they do. No, I didn’t make it up. One of our Waldorf mentors sent me a very short paragraph written by author, Dr. Till Bastian, aptly entitled “Children need wicked parents.” In it he shares that children need to know how far they can go because they do go astray when they have no limitations and boundaries. So he suggests we dare to be “wicked” sometimes, make unpopular decisions, because these belong to the hard side of education. Children who have never experienced such a boundary cannot find their foothold on life.

Of course I know that ranting and raving are not the best expressions of boundary, but I am also very slowly learning to accept that part of me as real. It needs taming and transformation, but there it is. It is the part of me that arrives when I reach my own boundary. I have an amazing capacity to be stretched, then stretched some more when other people have long since walked out, but when I arrive at the boundary, I am there with bells and whistles: WITCH ON WHEELS. There is no turning back. This is a boundary my children know and respect though I am adding less volatile versions to my growing repertoire.

During an endless bickering session between my boys that would not die no matter what, that continued in the car as we got in to run an errand, I decided I had reached my limit. I very calmly asked for the car to stop so I could leave. I wasn’t angry at that point and quite beyond exasperation. I was just tired of it all. So I thought it best for them to run the errand, bickering all they wanted, while I escaped into my quiet home for a good half hour of peace. The car stopped, I said goodbye, opened the door and left. No drama. Later on I was told that the children were seriously silent the whole trip. Now if I could always be that calm.

The very first time I lost it with a child, I called his teacher looking for solace, asking what I might do to take it all back. She gently reminded me that you couldn’t take these things back (thereby causing my heart to hemorrhage) but that if I worked on myself and tried to overcome and transform such weaknesses, the child would also feel my striving. Human striving is a lesson of love that the child imbibes. So we strive.

Alas, it is a lifelong process. Every mother will still have her bad days, despite all her efforts, but it helps to know that we are not alone and as long as we keep striving, keeping up the fervent pleas to the heavens to help us be better today, tomorrow, the day after, reading all those good parenting books and trying out every little tip, counting beyond 10, taking deep breaths and then switching to Lamaze breathing because, what the hell, it might work, locking ourselves in the bedroom just so we can calm down and get it together, doing all this every day — then I’m sure all is not lost.

At a bookstore a year or so ago, a dear friend looked at me and said, “Look what my son asked me to buy for him.” I looked at the heavy book in her hand entitled, Son of a Witch. We had to laugh. It was clear what that made us.

“Mama, are you a witch?” Yes, I am. “Good or bad?” he continues. Like all difficult questions, this one begs to be thrown back. So I do. “What do you think?” I always ask. “Good!” he has unfailingly replied. As long as I’m getting that and my son still sees the good in my witch, I know I’m still being a good enough mother. I am still mother-woman-witch — my home trinity. I can’t be that bad.

Mothers today need to open their hearts and forgive themselves because being a good enough mom is already quite a feat. True and present parenting is a tough job (and don’t let any CEO bully you into thinking otherwise). We have to learn to stop beating ourselves senseless because nobody else will be kind to us about our weaknesses. That’s also part of being a mom. We bathe all the wounds, including our own because that’s just the way it is. So mommy witches, open your hearts and let yourselves in. You are not alone. We are all here rooting for you. We are having a BABY GIRL
I'm just so ecstatic..I have some names in mind na and we're
    going to discuss it.

The doctor discussed some birth control issues with me
and asked me what kind of birth control do I want after I give birth?
I'm thinking about having an IUD like Mirena para at least 5 years sya
andun and then she asked me if I would want a Tubal Ligation.I said no
thanks! Well personally a tubal ligation is something that I don't want to do.
EVER!!!! When you have that then its the end na and there's no turning
back na and I want the option to change my mind in the future.

    I've been Tagged!

    I've been tagged by LitCoo

I must post the rules, 7 random things about me and then tag others to do the same. Sound fair enough, right? These are the rules… each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves on their Blog. People who are tagged need to blog 7 facts about themselves and post the rules as well. At the end of their blog list 7 people you are tagging. Let them know that they are tagged by leaving them a comment.

    1. I love to eat. When I go to a Mall the first thing that I’ll look out for is a restaurant.

    2. Although I love to eat I’m really not a pizza person.

    3. I am also non-shopaholic and never follow the fashion trends. I just stick to the basics it never does go out of style.

4.I’m always thankful to God for all the blessings that he has bestowed upon me and my family. I thank him everyday.

    5. I love to shop for scrapbooking materials and I subscribe to at least for 4 scrapbooking publications. But I don’t make enough LO’s at least not as much as I should.

    6. I suck at digital scrapbooking and no matter how hard I try to get into it. I just can’t. Just the other day I was trying to convert the photo from colored to black and white. I was stumped I just didn’t know how to do it.

    7. I am proud to say that I am sending a child to school through WORLD VISION.

I'm still here..baby is okay and
weight gain is at 8 lbs for 16 weeks
not bad at all. We will finally find
out if we're having a boy or a girl on
June 20. Sana girl pero i have a strong
    feeling that its a boy.

Gestational diabetes is still a big pain.. I hate
the injections and the 4x a day testing and
makes me think twice about having another
    one in the near future.

Joshwa is doing great school is almost over and
because of that we (meaning I) finally gave in
to commercialism and decided to subscribe to
cable tv plus GMA Pinoy TV. I already have
the ABS-CBN on demand so it doesn't make sense
    to have TFC.

Thats it for now will be posting again soon.

Hold Me - Savage Garden 2

    Hey,
If we can't find our way out of these problems
then maybe we dont need this
    standing face to face
like enemies at war we build defences
    And secret hiding places
I might need you to hold me tonight
I might need you to say it's alright
I might need you to make the first stand
'cos tonight I'm finding it hard to be your man
    hold me tonight
    say it's allright
    Hey
More than angry words i hate this silence
    it's getting so loud
    well i wanna scream
but bitterness has silenced these emotions
    it's getting hard to breathe
    so tell me isn't happiness
worth more than a gold diamond ring?
    i'm willing to do anything
to calm the storm in my heart
i've never been the praying kind
but lately i've been down upon my knees
    not looking for a miracle
    just a reason to believe

i might need you to hold me tonight
i might need you to say it's alright
i might need you to make the first stand
because tonight i'm finding it hard to be your man

Do you remember not long ago?
when we used to live for the night time
    cherish each moment
now we don't live we exist
we just run through our lives
    so alone
that's why you've got to hold me

    Hey,
If we can't find our way out of these problems
then maybe we dont need this
    standing face to face
like enemies at war we build defences
    And secret hiding places

I might need you to hold me tonight
I might need you to say it's alright
I might need you to make the first stand
because tonight I'm finding it hard to be your man

I love to sing. I sing in the shower, i sing while
cooking and i sing while scrapbooking. The problem
is that I can't sing to save my life. If i have to
sing for my supper I would definitely starve to
death but I do it anyway. I remember one time
because I was so confident that my voice
was fine I decided to audition for the glee club
of course I didn't pass my explanation to myself
    maybe they were already full.

My family has tried to tell me so many times that
I can't sing in many different ways.
I chose to stay in a great place called denial.
What made me come out of denial was Joshwa.
Whenever I tried to sing to him he would
cover his ears and when i was singing using
the Magic Sing he kept taking the microphone from
    me.

Maybe I should stick to what i'm good at nope
not dancing either just sit down and watch
from the sidelines and stick to clapping
for those that are really good at it.

    Still Here..

Im still here.. I had a great mothers day. Eventhough
a few days before that were a bit stressful akala ko
di na kakayanin. The Lord has blessed me with strength,
humility and lots and lots of patience. I received
a text message from Papa. Just greeting me happy
mothers day and he said I love you Anak. I was
really touched and so moved to tears. Kasi di
kami nagsasabihan ng I love you ni Papa. But he
knows that i love him and i know that he loves me
kaya lang di lang kami vocal. That text message
will now occupy a permanent place in my inbox.

Spent the day with my sisters, nephew and my son last Saturday.
Love my new wardrobe courtesy of my 2 gorgeous, generous, smart,
beautiful and sexy sisters.I immediately packed away my old and
frumpy clothes to make room for the new one.

Finally was able to eat at Cheescake Factory last Saturday. The food
was great the service wasn't I guess dahil madaming tao pero
service isn't something that should be compromised.
Malamang matagal na muna ako bago kumain dun.
Next on my list is Applebees. Hmmm kailan kaya? bahala na
Right now one of my favorites is Red Lobster
(2 pa lang ako nakapunta) pero i love the food and the service.

We took Joshwa to the $1 theater last Friday and today
while he was a bit antsy he tried his best and we survived it.
He was squirming in his seat but I'm glad he didn't cry and
didn't get out of his seat. Pirates of the Carribean here we come!

Top 10 Terrific Traits of People living with Autism

Top 10 Terrific Traits of People living with Autism
    From Lisa Jo Rudy,

If you're sick of hearing about all the "deficits" challenging people on the autism spectrum, join the club! But for every down side to autism, there seems to be a positive -- an unusual trait that rarely appears among the "typical" community, but shines out among autistic folk. These pluses are well worth celebrating.

    1) People on the Autism Spectrum Rarely Lie
We all claim to value the truth, but almost all of us tell little white lies. All, that is, except people on the autism spectrum. To them, truth is truth -- and a good word from a person on the spectrum is the real deal.

    2) People on the Autism Spectrum Live in the Moment
How often do typical people fail to notice what's in front of their eyes because they're distracted by social cues or random chitchat? People on the autism spectrum truely attend to the sensory input that surrounds them. Many have achieved the ideal of mindfulness.

    3) People with Autism Rarely Judge Others
Who's fatter? Richer? Smarter? For people on the autism spectrum, these distinctions hold much less importance than for typical folks. In fact, people on the spectrum often see through such surface appearances to discover the real person.

    4) People on the Autism Spectrum are Passionate
Of course, not all autistic people are alike. But many are truly passionate about the things, ideas and people in their lives. How many "typical" people can say the same?

    5) People with Autism Are Not Tied to Social Expectations
If you've ever bought a car, played a game or joined a club to fit in, you know how hard it is to be true to yourself. But for people with autism, social expectations can be honestly irrelevant. What matters is true liking, interest and passion -- not keeping up with the Joneses.

    6) People with Autism Have Terrific Memories
How often do typical people forget directions, or fail to take note of colors, names, and other details? People on the autism spectrum are often much more tuned in to details. They may have a much better memory than their typical peers for all kind of critical details.

    7) People on the Autism Spectrum Are Less Materialistic
Of course, this is not universally true -- but in general, people with autism are far less concerned with outward appearance than their typical peers. As a result, they worry less about brand names, hairstyles and other expensive but unimportant externals than most people do.

    8) People with Autism Play Fewer Head Games
Who was that woman, and why were you looking at her? I know I TOLD you I didn't mind if you went out, but why did you believe me? Most autistic people don't play games like these -- and they assume that you won't either. It's a refreshing and wonderful change from the Peyton Place emotional roller coaster that mars too many typical relationships!

    9) People with Autism Have Fewer Hidden Agendas
Most of the time, if a person on the autism spectrum tells you what he wants -- he is telling you what he wants. No need to beat around the bush, second guess, and hope you're reading between the lines!

    10) People with Autism Open New Doors for Neurotypicals
For some of us neurotypicals, having an autistic person in our lives has had a profound positive impact on our perceptions, beliefs and expectations. For me, at least, being the mom of a son on the autism spectrum has released me from a lifetime of "should" -- and offered me a new world of "is."

I'm happy to say that we've made up.
Philbert and I are not talking to each other at the moment.
What started with something so small and trivial is now
starting to get so complicated. He did something and I got
hurt. The weird part is that whatever it is that he thinks
that I did which was beyond my control doesn't fit what
his reaction should have been (no he didn't hit me).
So instead of the usual confrontation I did something
that I never thought I could do which is to stop talking and
just shut up. I would see him and ignore him and last night
I left Joshwa with him and he put Joshwa to bed. I think the
silent treatment will give both us time to think and cool down.
Do I still love him? of course I do. Its just that sometimes
he can bring out the best in me can and also bring out the worst in me.
Im sure we will eventually talk to each other we live in
the same house. I do miss him a lot. I miss waking up
beside him and I miss him hugging and kissing me when he gets
off from work. I miss just talking to him and telling him stories
about how my day was and I do miss the corny jokes.I miss my best friend..
I know you'll probably think that why can't I just say I'm sorry and be done with it. Because with Philbert its not that easy you may say all the sorry and mean it but when he's hurt he is really hurt. He needs it to be him to make the first move.

    Adoption

My sister in law will be adopting a child from
the Philippines. Well i'm not surprised because
she loves Cyrill like her own child and now she
has decided to take the plunge and start the
adoption process. I'm going to help her through
it I mean I'm going to do research so that she'll
know what to do and what to expect. Thinking of
adoption makes me think about Andrea. I miss her a
lot and I feel so bad that I couldn't fight for her.
I wish I had the money and the resources so that I
too can adopt her.Everyone thinks i've moved on from
that experience but I haven't. I think about her
everyday and I hope that she is well and I cry when
I hear that she's not being treated as well as she
should. But I will never trade that experience of
being her mom even for a while.. for a short time.
No one can replace her.. I could have kids of my own
but still my longing for her and concern will always
be there. Maybe someday soon God will make a way.
    Someday soon....

I can't stop gushing about my husband Philbert has been so amazing
he has been cooking, taking care of Joshwa & putting Joshwa to bed.
He has really stepped up to the plate and took care of things.
When I am unable to do so. I'm thankful that we had a chance
to move and start over in all honesty this has saved our marriage.
Of course sometimes we have our moments where we fight because
no one can upset me like he can. But at the end of the day
no one can comfort me and make me laugh like he can. When we lost
the baby I was beside myself I was crying and he held me and
let me cry he didn't need to say anything. I knew I was going
to be okay because he's here and whatever crazy thing I do
he puts up with me and my moods. I know that our kids are so lucky
to have Philbert as a dad.

    I WON

Joshwa is sick. He had to stay home from school because he has a cold.
The teacher bluntly told me that if he has a cold he should stay home
because the school is not a daycare center. So despite the fact that I'm not
feeling well I have to take care of a sick child and risk catching the
    cold.(I hope not)

    FUNNY STORIES

Philbert's new task at home is to vacuum. Since he didn't like
the old one that we had he said that he'd go to a friend's house
to borrow a vacuum cleaner. 2 hours later he came back with this
item. He was insistent that it was a vacuum cleaner and I said
that it was a leaf blower.

I couldn't help it I was laughing so hard when I saw him trying to use it on the floor. Ayaw kasi makinig eh. I told him why didn't you look at the photo on
the box and he was saying that since has the word vacuum and the prize was reasonable he decided to buy one. I'm a bad wife but I couldn't live it down.
We just went back to the store to return it and just get a new one.

Okay sige na nga kung sa kanya may nangyaring nakakatawa sa akin din. I was taking a nap when I woke up Joshwa was trying to put an apple on my mouth. Yes gagawin akong lechon ni Joshwa. When I said Joshwa what are you doing? he handed me an apple
and gave me the sweetest smile.

I'm loving the new Microsoft Word 2007. I could write my blog entries here and it does the uploading. Cool huh!!

    You Are 17% Bitchy

You are practically an angel - both on the inside and outside.
You try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and you're even tolerant of bitchiness in others!

    LAZY SATURDAY

I'm bored! Tons of things to do and yet I don't want to do it. Philbert isn't here its just me and Joshwa. Wanted to see Airees and Pepel tomorrow but since I'm at the mercy of our driver the subject is up for discussion. They'll be in Pasadena tomorrow so around 33 miles is a bit far from where we live

Dinner is quietly boiling it's early around 3 pm but it's a tricky recipe. I'm cooking Lechon Kawali. Sana wag pumalpak.. Akala ko naman its something as simple as frying it. But according to http://marketmanila.com you have to let it Simmer for 75 minutes with the garlic, onion, water and peppercorns and then you have to leave it alone for 1 hour and wait for it to dry. So by the time that its finished mga 6pm siguro include the other things that goes into the preparation.

I've finished reading another book Holly by Jude Deveraux. I bought 40 of her books from EBAY and the others I bought from AMAZON. I just love her stories on the Montogomery & Taggert Family. I don't want to read something heavy and depressing at the moment so her books are okay. I also ordered some books by Judith Mcnaught. Puro romance na lang muna. I'm a hopeless romantic I believe that love conquers all and that the two main characters will be together happily ever after. Kaya nga ayoko na magbasa ng books ni Nicholas Sparks kakalungkot eh I know in reality na di naman lahat nagkakatuluyan pero gusto ko talaga happy ending.

I remember watching telenovelas and there was a time na mga pinapapalabas sa TV di nagkakatuluyan parang nanawa tuloy ako manuod. Speaking of telenovelas I stopped watching Maria Flordeluna (because I'm disturbed by the plots and subplots ) Palimos ng Pag-Ibig because ayoko nang acting ni Rica. Di naman ganun ginawa ni Vilma eh. I know its supposed to be based on the movie pero just the same I keep comparing it to the movie.

What is it with this pregnancy.. I'm always super hungry..
Not just being hungry pero yung feeling mo na parang
3 days kang di kumain when in fact your last meal
was 2 hours ago. I watch what I eat pero grabe talaga gutom ko.
Sabi ng mama drink water pag feeling ko gutom ako
    pero baka masama yun.

Philbert went home with manggang hilaw and bagoong.
I swear di ako mahilig sa manggang hilaw lalo na sa bagoong.
Pero kinain ko talaga sya and naubos ko yung bagoong
ayoko na kainin yung mangga. Weird ..

Tomorrow I have a meeting sa school ni Joshwa.
We will be discussing his transition to another
school. Hopefully it will happen by August.

My paper packs are here YEY!!! pero sa sobrang
ganda parang ayaw ko gamitin. Hinimas himas ko
inamoy amoy, pinisil pisil.. Iniisip ko paano
    gagamitin..Ayoko gupitin..

Aawayin ako ni Philbert pag di ko na ginamit
mahilig daw ako mag hoard tapos ayoko
gamitin. Sabi nya wag na daw muna ako bumili..
He says that I have so much pero a girl
can NEVER have to much scrapbook materials.
Some women love shoes, some love bags mine
are scrapbook materials. Philbert threatened to
call my mom pag di ako tumigil mag shopping
ng pang scrapbook. I said okay di na ako bibili..
Then under my breath I said for this month.
Di ko na lang sinabi na may 2 kits ako parating every month
for 6 months. I hope my mom isn't reading
this otherwise i'll hear an earful..

I found my BG Supplier at http://www.coordinatescollections.com
The owner was so nice to accomodate me. When I ordered naubusan
na ako but she was able to pre-order some papers and was able to send
my orders right away. 3 Packs are coming tomorrow Blush, Perhaps
and Stella Ruby. 1 will be coming in May the Pheobe collection.

By the way we might be having twins.. Not yet that sure but the heartbeat
is strong and unusual for a single baby and is definitely moving
a lot. The doctor says I need to get an ultrasound from another
clinic kasi wala silang ultrasound dun sa isang clinic na refer
nila it's $250 ang mahal. Will post the ultrasound results
as soon as I have it.

Joshwa is learning so many things leaps and bounds
Sometimes cute things like he could now type
    an apology. Last Saturday because
he misbehaved his dad said to him while
    he was on the computer.
Philbert: Joshwa di ka ba mag sorry kay daddy.
Joshwa opens the notepad and types
    Daddy Philbert sorry lang ako.

Pero while cute yun may ginawa din sya kalokohan
he did something on the computer and played with
the volume. So ngayon iba na boses na lumalabas
boses ka boses ni Mahal seriously dont think na ang sama ko its
not intend to discriminate in any way pero kung imported
sabihin na lang natin na boses ng Chipmunks.
Puede mo pagtyagaan but you can really distinguish
the difference. Because of that Philbert is itching to
reformat the computer. Ayoko muna kasi I want to
wait till my ABS-CBN subscription will be
renewed para dun ko sa laptop mapanood. Kaunting
    tiis na lang naman.

Im just so giddy my Scarlett's Letter by Basic Grey arrived today.

Was able to get it at $18.45 shipping
included. I found a website na $14.40 lang yung Basic
Grey tapos $4.05 ang shipping. Unlike sa ibang website
na $18 tapos shipping nila is nasa $4 plus tax pa so magiging
mga $23 na siguro sya. Excited lang ako . I can hear my
mom talking to me Anak ang Gastos mo.. Pero for me
these are just perks that I get. I do the budgeting so the
extras I can use for my scrapbooking. Kaya nga staggered
ang pag ordered ko para di naman masakit sa bulsa.

I was thinking of buying a Cricut.

Major Pagtitipid na naman gagawin ko nito
Let us see Cricut or Car Insurance, Cricut or
Grocery Shopping or Cricut or Gas Money.
hahahahha..I could hear my husband saying let me see
Cricut today and no scrapbook shopping for 6 months.
    Wahhhhh

Tapos excited din ako kasi padating na ito next week.
