JASON MRAZ TRIUMPHS AT 52ND ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS

ACCLAIMED TUNESMITH WINS TROPHIES FOR "BEST MALE POP VOCAL PERFORMANCE"
AND "BEST POP COLLABORATION WITH VOCALS"

Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz swept his two categories at last night's 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The San Diego-based troubadour took home trophies for both "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" for "Make It Mine," and "Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals" for his alliance with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky." Both tracks are featured on 2008's RIAA platinum-certified "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS."

In other news, Mraz is set to perform a rare solo acoustic set at "Cord Progression," a special night of music in support of Spinal Cord Injury Awareness. Slated for February 27th at Long Beach Terrace Theatre in Long Beach, California, the benefit concert will also feature Timmy Curran, Bushwalla, and the Makepeace Brothers, as well as other special guests. Last year saw the multi-talented Mraz honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame's esteemed "Hal David Starlight Award." The award - presented to gifted songwriters who are making a significant impact in the music industry via their original songs - has previously gone to such artists as Rob Thomas, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, and John Legend.

The tunesmith's #1 smash "I'm Yours" recently made history as the longest-running song on Billboard's "Hot 100" in the 51-year history of the chart. The first song ever to top the charts at four different pop radio formats, "I'm Yours" is the #4 most downloaded song of all time, with sales now exceeding 4.8 million downloads.

Fueled by the success of "I'm Yours," "Lucky," and "Make It Mine," "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." has proven a genuine worldwide sensation. In addition to the album's platinum certification in the US, the album has received multiple platinum certifications in Korea (5x), France (4x), and Indonesia (3x); double platinum certifications in Australia and Canada; and platinum certification in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan.

Mraz's most recent release is "JASON MRAZ'S BEAUTIFUL MESS - LIVE ON EARTH," a two-disc CD/DVD set capturing him at his onstage best, performing a wide array of his greatest hits. Filmed and recorded in August 2009 as Jason's blockbuster "Gratitude Café Tour" hit Chicago's Charter One Pavilion, the collection includes a DVD - directed by Darren Doane ("I'm Yours," "Lucky," as well as videos from such diverse artists as Van Morrison, Shinedown, Buckcherry, and Underoath) - featuring the full-length concert, never-before-seen backstage footage, and the exclusive new mockumentary, "Un Beau Désordre."
