FORD INTRODUCES UPGRADES TO FOCUS LINE-UP FOR 2010

The New Ford Focus

Earlier this year, the Ford Focus line-up was completed with the addition of the new Ford Focus TDCi 4-door sedan with six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission and the 1.8L Focus Trend sedan now with the convenience of an automatic transmission.  The Ford Focus line-up was completed with a total of eight variants. The entry-level Ford Focus Style and Trend in 1.8L Duratec with manual transmissions, the Ford Focus Trend in 1.8L Duratec with automatic transmissions, available in both sedan and hatch, the Focus Ghia 4-door 2.0L Duratec AT, the Focus Sport Hatch 2.0L Duratec AT and finally, the top two variants with Ford’s Six-speed Dual Clutch PowerShift technology, the Focus Ghia Sedan 2.0L Duratec AT and Focus Sport Hatch 2.0L Duratec AT.

The Ford Focus Sport Hatch boasts of a new front bumper giving it a sportier edge, with body color matching Front Hood Bar and Fog Lamp Bezel. Its latest innovative offerings is through the 16- inch ST Design Wheels, specially designed for the ultimate comfort and smooth driving with the Ford Focus. With class-first features such as Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto On/Off Headlamps and Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, this Ford Focus Sport is geared for optimum performance on the road with the comfort and convenience.

 

The Ford Focus Ghia TDCi sports the same innovative 16-inch ST Design Wheels, Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto On/Off Headlamps and Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, while the Ford Focus Ghia Petrol’s additional features include Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto On/Off Headlamps and Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror for ultimate performance.

The Ford Focus 1.8 L Trend sedan and hatch have been packed with 16” alloy wheels, upgraded from its past 15” wheels and now, with Front Passenger Airbag in addition to Driver Airbag, ensuring driver and passenger safety when on the road.

Through the 24 Hour Parts Guarantee, more than 60 pre-selected parts for the repair and maintenance of your Focus is guaranteed within 24 hours. This includes parts for the engine, driveline, brakes and suspension, body and exterior. Loyal Ford Focus customers who avail of this service must have the vehicles repaired in the authorized Metro Manila dealer workshops within the 3-year warranty period.

Ford delivers great service by providing speedy repair within 24 hours of the customer’s authorization to purchase or the part is free of charge. This is applicable to the selected parts under 60 components and 151 part numbers. Under the maintenance, wear and tear and minor repairs, this also excludes labor costs. The 2010 Ford Focus

The Ford Focus line-up still starts at P779,000 for the 1.8L Style sedan with 5-speed manual transmission that comes with standard ABS and airbag. The mid-level sedan and hatchback 1.8L Trend models, offering a choice of either five-speed manual transmission (on the 4-door) or automatic transmission, are priced at PhP799,000 and PhP879,000. The Ford Focus 1.8L Trend sedan AT is also priced at PhP879,000.

There are two 2.0L petrol models: a luxury Ghia sedan with automatic transmission, leather seats and 6-way electric driver seat; and a Sport hatchback that come at a best value price of P975,000.

And now with two variants featuring TDCi engines with 6-speed PowerShift dual-clutch automatic transmission, the Focus Diesel Sport Hatch and the new Focus Diesel Sedan are priced at P1,195,000.
